It’s been so so long since my last post – in part because I’ve been trying to prioritize what I want to do in Korea with the rest of my time here (T-5 months!). Life update to be written soon, but since winter’s in full swing already, thought I’d give my two cents on how to deal with the cold. I figured I had won the toughest battle with winter during last year’s polar vortex in the East Coast, but Seoul is putting up quite a challenge – not so much the temperature but the infamous 칼바람. (And all of my Korean friends keep warning me that January is much worse yikes!) So some quick tips on staying warm:

  1. Hot pack it up – you can buy a package of these at Daiso for a few dollars. They vary in size and time…
