A day out and about

Yesterday I ventured into Seoul for a lunchbox tray for my sisters godson. I invited a friend along and other than this lunchbox I had no other plans. It was freezing but we found so much stuff. First thing first was good. We stumbled upon this really awesome little sushi place and are lunch.

Walking away from lunch we found a lady selling sweet potato and pumpkin croquets I guess some would say…

After these we were stuffed and continued on the search. We walked past Gyeongbokgung Palace and they were doing a changing of the guards.. So we got to watch about the last 10-15 min. of that.

Upon a cold but entertaining walk around Gyeongbokgung and Dongdaemun and finding said lunchbox we started to head back. Ending up in Sindang station we found the Mecca find of the day. It was a reptile and amphibian center. It cost 10,000₩ a person and you go in and get to handle bugs, snakes, rats,a small pig (all the mammals were rescued from companies that test on them)

Above is my friend holding a Rhino Beatle… Out of everything that was the one I was most scared to hold.

If you are around and get a chance- go hang out with all these awesome creatures!!!!
